Who We Are:
Star Blends is a full-service feed manufacturing facility that uses state-of-the-art technology to produce high-quality animal feed, dairy nutrition, and commodity contracting for our hardworking Midwest farm families. Our passion is helping guide farm success. We value integrity and take pride in growing our team of leaders.
The Role:
The Mill Controller is responsible for safety and productivity and is accountable for ensuring that production scheduled for completion is executed in a timely manner.
What A Day In The Life Looks Like:
  • Monitor and operate our computer-blending/receiving system
  • Sequence production runs
  • Receive incoming bulk ingredients
  • Generate invoices for outgoing bulk products
  • Participate in the hiring and onboarding process of all Production Associates
  • Lead team huddles

Now hiring in Sparta for both first and second shifts.
  • First Shift: 4:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Second Shift: 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Friday

This role requires the ability to work in a variety of Wisconsin weather conditions and safely lift up to 60 pounds.
