Controller/Director of Finance & Accounting - Law or Professional Services Firm-Miami

We are seeking a Controller to lead the financial management of a dynamic firm. This role involves overseeing accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls to ensure smooth financial operations. You will manage the firms cash, maintain banking relationships, support financial forecasting, and oversee the month-end closing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead accounting, budgeting, tax, and audit functions
  • Manage cash flow and oversee bank account activity
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and GAAP
  • Prepare monthly financial statements and manage the year-end close
  • Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
  • Support strategic decisions with financial analysis
  • Supervising finance team and improve financial systems for efficiency
