What You'll Do:

  • Oversee dealership accounting functions and ensure APC provides timely, accurate, and efficient accounting support to dealerships.
  • Partner with Platform Vice Presidents, General Managers, Store Leaders, and other Operations leaders to maintain financial controls and resolve accounting needs.
  • Develop and execute action plans for acquisitions, open points, divestitures, audit findings, profitability opportunities, and working capital concerns.
  • Evaluate APC team performance, identify process improvements, and ensure internal and external reporting deadlines are met.
  • Support key compliance and financial control activities, including SOX-related policies and reviews of reconciliations and incentives.
  • Review regional performance to identify operational and profitability opportunities across dealerships.
  • Maintain strong cross-functional communication with Operations, dealership, regional, and Support Services teams.

What You'll Bring:

  • Prior automotive Controller, Business Manager, dealership, or operational accounting experience with progressively increasing responsibilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of leadership experience with increasing scope and accountability.
  • Strong communication, active listening, critical thinking, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, and support high-performing personnel.
