Summary


Responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical control panels according to schematics, blueprints, and engineering specifications. Control Panel Assemblers requires attention to detail, strong understanding of electrical components, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.


Duties and Responsibilities


  • Assemble and wire electrical control panels, enclosures, and components per engineering drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to ensure proper assembly.
  • Mount and connect electrical components such as relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and switches.
  • Perform continuity and functional testing of assembled panels to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve wiring issues or component failures during the assembly process.
  • Work closely with engineers and quality control to ensure panels meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety procedures and company policies.
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure timely completion of work orders while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.
