Job description

CDR General Solutions is seeking a Control Panel Wiring Technician to join our team near Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated individual with strong work ethics, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-Time
Job Location: Dallas, TX 75220
Pay Rate: $22 to $25 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
ยท Assembly, wiring and testing of various LV control panels based on wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and specifications.
ยท Fabrication of UL-508A Industrial Control Panels
ยท Understanding of electrical circuits to include PLCโ€™s, Ethernet networking, instrumentation, and controls.
ยท Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
ยท Utilize engineering documentation (bill of materials, panel layouts) and electrical schematics to ensure compliant and fully functioning panel/control.
ยท Read basic wiring diagram and install low voltage wiring in control panel based on diagram.
ยท Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
ยท Communicate any documentation inaccuracies to the Project Manager and/or Shop Supervisor.
ยท Able to read and interpret shop drawings, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings.
ยท Involves wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses.
ยท Maintain red-line mark-ups of changes made during fabrication.
ยท Undertake other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time.
ยท Prepare completed control panels for shipment.
ยท Communicate effectively with all team members.
Qualifications
ยท Experience with Automation Control Panels which contain PLC's, VFD's, Contactors and Relays.
ยท Must have 5 years of electrical control panel wiring experience.
ยท Must be able to read electrical schematics.
ยท Must be able to work without supervision.
ยท Ability to read, write and speak English
ยท Must able to perform the physical duties of the job without any restrictions.
