CDR General Solutions is seeking a Control Panel Wiring Technician to join our team near Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated individual with strong work ethics, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to providing results in a fast-paced environment.

Job Location: Dallas, TX 75220
Pay Rate: $22 to $25 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm

Key Responsibilities
· Assembly, wiring and testing of various LV control panels based on wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and specifications.
· Fabrication of UL-508A Industrial Control Panels
· Understanding of electrical circuits to include PLC’s, Ethernet networking, instrumentation, and controls.
· Routing and bundling of wire and cables neatly to meet wiring standards.
· Utilize engineering documentation (bill of materials, panel layouts) and electrical schematics to ensure compliant and fully functioning panel/control.
· Read basic wiring diagram and install low voltage wiring in control panel based on diagram.
· Adhere to all quality and safety codes.
· Communicate any documentation inaccuracies to the Project Manager and/or Shop Supervisor.
· Able to read and interpret shop drawings, electrical schematics and/or engineering drawings.
· Involves wiring, crimping, and working with wire harnesses.
· Maintain red-line mark-ups of changes made during fabrication.
· Undertake other reasonable tasks as may be required from time to time.
· Prepare completed control panels for shipment.
· Communicate effectively with all team members.
Qualifications
· Experience with Automation Control Panels which contain PLC's, VFD's, Contactors and Relays.
· Must have 5 years of electrical control panel wiring experience.
· Must be able to read electrical schematics.
· Must be able to work without supervision.
· Ability to read, write and speak English
· Must able to perform the physical duties of the job without any restrictions.
