Industrial Maintenance Electrician
Augusta, GA

General Shale, Inc., the nation’s leading manufacturer of brick and masonry products, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support operations at our Augusta, Georgia manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a skilled electrician looking to apply and expand their knowledge in a highly automated industrial environment.

Position Overview:

The Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and production equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operations. The role involves performing predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance while collaborating with machine operators and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test, troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical components such as motors, pumps, and control systems

  • Ensure proper operation of production equipment through predictive, preventive, and corrective maintenance

  • Read and follow diagrams, sketches, prints, and equipment manuals

  • Use hand tools, power tools, multi-meters, levels, and other maintenance equipment

  • Operate forklifts, hoists, and power equipment safely

  • Work off ladders and in elevated positions as needed

  • Communicate effectively with machine operators to identify and troubleshoot issues

  • Perform physically demanding tasks including bending, stooping, and lifting
