Job description

Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for precision and quality?ย  We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Controlย Panel Builder to join our are assembly team.

Aย Controlย Panel Builder at A&A operates and maintains stations to assemble, align and adjust fabricated parts, components, or units according to specifications and follows established manufacturing procedures.ย  Controlย Panel Builders will follow general guidelines for layout of control panels and wiring of said panels per blueprints.ย  They MUST be able to read blueprints and comprehend them.

Specific Duties

  • Assemble electrical control panels and related items
  • Assemble components or units
  • Uses hand tools, power tools, and other manufacturing assembly equipment.
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to ensure all components meet tolerances, product specifications and quality standards.
  • Repair or refit parts or units that fail tests or tolerance levels.
  • Keeps daily assembly production records.ย 
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma required.
  • Previous experience reading wiring diagrams and blueprints.
  • Previous experience laying out industrial electrical control panels preferred.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and a strong attention to detail
  • Ability to use half inch impact, wrenches and sockets.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, pulling and pushing.
  • Ability to lift, carry or drag up to 50 pounds if necessary.
  • Ability to ascend/descend stairs.
