As part of an Agile development team, you'll design, build, and enhance enterprise software solutions that support mission-critical operations across the Intelligence Community. Key Responsibilities * Develop and enhance enterprise Java applications supporting mission-critical capabilities. * Design and implement scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot. * Develop and integrate RESTful APIs that enable communication across distributed systems. * Design efficient database solutions and optimize SQL queries for application performance. * Support the development of modern web applications using JavaScript and Angular. * Collaborate with architects, software engineers, and mission stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. * Analyze and resolve software defects while improving application performance and reliability. * Participate in architecture discussions, peer code reviews, and technical planning sessions. * Contribute to continuous integration, testing, deployment, and long-term sustainment activities. * Promote modern software engineering practices and contribute to continuous process improvement. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience). * Experience developing enterprise software applications using Java. * Experience with Spring Boot or similar Java frameworks. * Experience developing and integrating RESTful web services. * Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, or MySQL. * Experience with JavaScript and modern front-end frameworks such as Angular. * Experience developing software within Linux/Unix environments. * Familiarity with Git, version control, testing methodologies, and Agile software development. * Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications * Experience developing microservices-based architectures. * Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms. * Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application development. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitLab. * Experience with Maven, Gradle, or similar Java build tools. Position Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with an FSP Salary and Benefits Information: The salary range for this position is $183,259.00 to $237,433.00 . The proposed range is intended as a general guideline. Final compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, location, and contractual considerations and may fall outside of the stated range.
