Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a close connection with our community health clinic services. You will collaborate with educational staff, families, and community resources to assess and support students’ needs effectively. Our clinic operates in alignment with the school calendar, providing structured hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, along with flexibility to attend special events or conferences as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the social, emotional, and behavioral needs of students, developing customized intervention plans tailored to individual challenges.
  • Provide counseling services, either one-on-one or in group sessions, focused on issues such as behavior management, self-esteem enhancement, peer relationships, and crisis intervention.
  • Collaborate proactively with teachers and administrators to integrate strategies that bolster students' academic performance and social-emotional development.
  • Identify and facilitate referrals for students in need of specialized services, such as mental health counseling or community support resources.
  • Advocate for the rights of students, ensuring equal access to necessary educational resources and services.
  • Engage with families through home visits or community agency partnerships to gather insights and offer targeted support.
  • Design and lead workshops for students, parents, and staff on critical issues such as bullying prevention, conflict resolution, and improving mental health awareness.
  • Maintain detailed, confidential records of student interactions, assessments, and implemented interventions to track progress and outcomes.
  • Stay updated with current practices and research in school social work by pursuing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 60,000 and 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and education.
