• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' psychosocial needs, including emotional, social, and behavioral concerns.
• Develop and implement individualized support plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student, facilitating personal growth and academic success.
• Provide counseling to students facing a range of life challenges such as family issues, grief, bullying, and other mental health concerns.
• Work closely with teachers and school administrators to create an inclusive environment where students feel supported and empowered.
• Advocate for students, ensuring that they have access to the necessary resources, services, and accommodations within the educational setting.
• Regularly review and monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Facilitate workshops and informational sessions for parents and guardians on topics related to mental health, coping strategies, and community resources.
• Maintain detailed documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, ensuring compliance with all privacy and ethical guidelines.
• Stay current with developments in social work practices, regulations, and educational needs, applying this knowledge to your work.

In this role, you will primarily work with students from diverse backgrounds, addressing a wide array of psychological and social challenges. Your expertise will be pivotal in assisting children facing issues linked to academic performance, social integration, and familial dynamics. • A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.

• Strong understanding of educational systems, child development, and issues impacting today's youth.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, necessary for effective interaction with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Proficiency with virtual communication platforms and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Experience in school social work or similar roles providing support in a remote or virtual environment.
• Familiarity with therapeutic modalities appropriate for working with youth, including cognitive-behavioral techniques.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with families and facilitate workshops or support groups.
