As a key member of our logistics department, the Biller will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely billing processes for our freight forwarding operations. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of freight documentation, invoicing procedures, and excellent organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Billing and Invoicing: Generate and verify accurate invoices for freight shipments in accordance with established billing procedures. Ensure completeness and correctness of billing documentation, including freight manifests, shipping orders, and relevant customs paperwork.
- Collaborate with internal departments to obtain necessary information for billing purposes.
- Rate Calculation: Calculate shipping rates based on factors such as weight, volume, and destination, ensuring adherence to company pricing policies. Verify and cross-reference rates with contractual agreements and customer-specific pricing structures.
- Documentation Management: Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all billing-related documents. Archive and file documentation for future reference and audit purposes.
