Salary: $19.26 per hour plus benefits/ Range 17
Additional salary credit may be given for internal transfers and recent Greeley-Evans School District 6 rehires, up to $30.86 per hour plus benefits
  • Monitors who work the following months will be eligible to receive a $250 retention bonus
    • August-October: $250 (paid November 2026)
    • November-January: $250 (paid February 2027)
    • February-April: $250 (paid May 2027)
    • May: $250 (paid in June 2027)

Contract Length/ Days: (2025-2026/ 181)

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Required:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Eight hours of pre-training at district expense
  • First Aid training
  • Good interpersonal skills

Preferred:
  • Some knowledge of bus operation and ability to assist in emergency situations
  • knowledge of scheduled route to assist sub drivers
  • Ability to work with handicapped children
  • Bilingual skills

JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary/Objective: Assists bus driver in the safe transportation of students.
Essential Functions:
  • Aids the driver in the internal and external cleanliness of the bus.
  • Aids driver in pre-trip inspection
  • Assists in the loading and unloading of students
  • Aids in railroad crossing procedures
  • Assists in control of students while en-route
  • May ride on handicapped student bus; helping with personal needs and making sure seat belts are securely fastened
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, numerous distractions, visual, auditory and ambulatory acuity important.
  • Ability to move quickly from one position to another in response to student needs and upper body strength with the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
