Job description

As an Electrical Engineer II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of power supplies within the aerospace sector. You will work on challenging projects that require technical expertise and innovation to support Honeywell Aerospace's commitment to advancing aerospace technology.
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on an On-site / Hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, new hires will be onsite M-F.
In this role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver high-quality, reliable, and cutting-edge power supply solutions that enhance aerospace products and systems, contributing to safety, efficiency, and performance in the aerospace industry.
Responsibilities
  • Develop the design and development of power supply design and analysis, including basic efficiency, stability, thermal, and EMI standards for aerospace applications.
  • Create or updating schematics, support for PBA layout, integration, or power electronic circuits. Conduct testing and troubleshooting of power supply design to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in support of systems integration and project delivery.

Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
  • 2 years' experience in electrical engineering principles with a focus on power supply design or related discipline.
  • Proven knowledge in circuit fundamentals, simulation, troubleshooting, and hands-on design/testing ability while applicable to aerospace systems.
  • Proficiency in the following: creating electrical schematics, PBA layouts, DC-DC Power Supplies, measurement equipment, and tools.
  • Familiarity with EMI, Regulatory, and Thermal behavior. Microsoft Office tools for documentation and reporting.
