What Youโll DoAs an Escrow Assistant or Closing Processor, you'll play an important role in supporting residential and commercial real estate closings. Working alongside Closing Agents, you'll prepare documentation, coordinate with customers and business partners, and help ensure every transaction is completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
Essential Responsibilities- Prepare letters, forms, checks, closing documents, and other escrow-related documentation
- Assist with residential and commercial real estate closings from opening through post-closing
- Execute escrow instructions and contractual requirements, including holding and disbursing funds and legal documents
- Review deeds, assignments, mortgages, and related documents for accuracy and compliance with escrow instructions, company policies, and legal requirements
- Enter and maintain accurate transaction information within escrow software systems
- Generate closing documents and verify data prior to closing
- File, record, and deliver deeds and other legal documents with the appropriate agencies
- Process disbursements for taxes, insurance, mortgage payoffs, and other closing-related expenses
- Order third-party services, including title requirements, surveys, termite inspections, insurance, and other services as required by the real estate contract or lender instructions.
- Communicate with customers, lenders, real estate professionals, attorneys, and internal team members throughout the closing process
- Answer customer questions and resolve routine issues with professionalism and accuracy
- Review transaction reports and payment allocations to identify and correct discrepancies
- Maintain organized electronic and physical files while meeting established deadlines
- Support Escrow Officers and perform additional duties as needed to ensure exceptional service

Qualifications- Preferred: 2+ Years or experience in title, escrow, banking, or real estate.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy
- A positive, team-oriented attitude with a customer-first mindset
- Willingness to learn and grow within the title and escrow industry
