Job description

JOB PURPOSE:


To process un-ratified and ratified contracts created between the Company and customers while also coordinating and ensuring the settlement process for each customer is managed efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage the settlement process
  • Compile and research information for settlement process and settlement reports
  • Send settlement correspondences to homeowners
  • Liaison between Homeowners, Lenders, Appraisers, Sales, Production, and Title Companies
  • Enter settlement information into company systems as required
  • Fax, copy, mail, and file information related to settlement process
  • Maintain and organize settlement files
  • Run settlement reports for different departmental uses
  • Review deeds and settlement statements for accuracy prior to approval
  • Performs data entry of all contracts, change orders, addendums and color selections into database
  • Process cancelled contracts and lot transfers
  • Copy and distribute contracts to homeowner and other departments
  • Update contract, start, and permit information in company system
  • Other duties as apparent or assigned
