L3Harris is currently hiring for the role of Senior Associate, Contracts. This position is responsible for conducting proposal preparation, pre-contract data collection, and administering, extending, negotiating and terminating standard and nonstandard US Government and International contracts.

ย 

Essential Functions:

ย 

  • Supports contract management activities including reviewing solicitations and assisting in the preparation of compliant proposals.
  • Assists in contract negotiations and helps ensure that contractual documentation supports company and customer objectives.
  • Develops foundational skills in interpreting contract terms, identifying risks, processing contract modifications, and understanding contractual rights and obligations under the guidance of senior contracts staff.
  • Assists in ensuring contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, customer specifications, FAR, DFARS, and ITAR, with oversight from senior contracts personnel.
  • Reviews RFPs and assists in preparing proposals including engineering changes; supports associated negotiation activities and participates in defining proposal scope under the direction of senior staff.
  • Assists in performing basic risk assessment of proposal and contract terms and conditions; supports the development and execution of risk mitigation strategies with guidance from senior contracts personnel.
  • Works with customers, management, and program teams to help resolve issues, support approvals, and contribute to successful contract execution under the direction of senior contracts staff.
  • Assists in serving as a point of contact for the customer during various phases of a program.
  • Generates, maintains, and organizes contract documentation and files in accordance with company procedures.

The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland, Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $60,500 - $112,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
