Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual client needs, utilizing evidence-based practices and screening tools.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prepare pre-crisis, crisis intervention plans, behavioral guidelines, and risk assessments, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
- Document all client interactions and care plans promptly and accurately to meet regulatory standards, facilitating the continuity of care.
- Work alongside community partners, state agencies, and relevant service systems to enhance behavioral support and resource access for clients.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of practice.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to cultivate relationships that foster client engagement and satisfaction.
- Promote the agency’s mission and values by actively seeking new alliances and funding sources that bolster service availability and impact.
- Participate in meetings, conferences, and task forces that enhance professional expertise and contribute to broader mental health initiatives in the community.
- Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to organizational needs.
The Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Frontier Counseling Services will work primarily with diverse populations facing a range of mental health challenges. From individuals grappling with anxiety and depression to those requiring support in overcoming substance use disorders, our client base is varied. Qualifications- A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
- A valid, independent LMHC License in the state of Tennessee is a prerequisite for this role.

- Previous experience working in a mental health counseling role, particularly within a telehealth or remote setting.
