Healthcare Assistant (ASSS) – Law 90 – (Chaudière-Appalaches) Place : Chaudière-Appalaches - Quebec, Canada (home and partner establishments) Contract type: Full-time or part-time (permanent/fixed-term contract depending on needs) Schedules : Day, evening or night depending on assignments and availability Salary : To be determined, up to $29 more (bonuses, transportation reimbursement, continuing education, etc.) About ASICC-MED: Since 1992, ASICC-MED has supported healthcare settings in Quebec with qualified, reliable and mobile staff. Job summary: The Healthcare Assistant (HAA) performs delegated activities in accordance with Law 90 and established clinical protocols. He/she contributes to the quality, safety and continuity of care for users, under the supervision of a nurse or authorized professional. Main responsibilities (in accordance with Law 90): Administer certain medications via non-invasive routes (oral, topical, sublingual, etc.) according to prescription and protocol. Perform authorized invasive care assistance (e.g., capillary blood glucose, simple wound care, subcutaneous injections if permitted by the environment).
