Administrative Assistant

Location: Minneapolis, MN 55403 Contract 6 months with possibility of extension

Receives invoices from contractors, obtains approval from supervisor, and releases purchase order for payment ensuring accuracy. Performs various clerical duties including data entry, scanning/indexing of contractor invoices, inventory control, office equipment maintenance, record keeping and filing to support department and division business objectives. Assists construction inspectors in paperwork including locating sewer lateral verification; works with permit department to file for mechanical permits when necessary. Assists communication specialist, construction assistant, and scheduler/routers in written notification of upcoming projects to our customers. Operates PC using Microsoft Office, various software packages as well as mainframe applications. Implements and supports company business objectives. Other duties as apparent or assigned. Exhibits desirable and appropriate professional behavior, works in a safe manner, and models company values including; safety, integrity, accountability, initiative, and respect.
