Job Title: 1st Shift General Production Worker – Industrial Sewing Schedule
  • 1st Shift: Monday – Friday
  • 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • No weekends required
  • Weekly pay
  • Immediate Interviews

Job Overview

Join a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility as a General Production Worker supporting multiple departments, including industrial sewing and steel wire rope handling. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn a specialized trade while contributing to the production of high-quality lifting and securement products.

You will be trained across departments and placed where your strengths best align, with opportunities to grow your skillset over time.


Responsibilities
  • Support multiple production departments including wire rope handling and industrial sewing
  • Unload, store, and transport steel wire rope safely throughout the facility
  • Perform wire rope braiding using hands, wrists, and arms to meet precise customer specifications
  • Operate industrial sewing machines to stitch straps of varying sizes and thicknesses
  • Read and follow work orders and stitch patterns accurately
  • Perform repetitive production tasks while maintaining high attention to detail
  • Sit for sewing tasks with flexibility to stand as needed while maintaining proper ergonomics
  • Assist with material handling, packaging, inspection, and general labor duties
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products and report any defects
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE (ear protection & safety glasses)
  • Collaborate with team members to support production flow and team success

Training Program
  • Structured training program with hands-on instruction
  • Expected independent performance in approximately 4 weeks
  • Ongoing training and development support for up to 6 months

Essential Skills
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or general labor
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Experience with material handling and moving production materials safely
  • Mechanical aptitude or experience with machine operation
  • Ability to learn and operate industrial sewing equipment
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks using hands, wrists, and arms
  • Strong attention to detail when following instructions and specifications
  • Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work 1st shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Monday–Friday)

Additional Qualifications (Preferred)
  • Experience as a production worker, machine operator, laborer, or material handler
  • Prior experience with industrial sewing or textile manufacturing
  • Background in inspection, packaging, or quality control
  • Ability to cross-train and work in multiple departments
  • Team-oriented mindset with a willingness to learn
