  • Identify opportunities to expand relationships and introduce additional services.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of client businesses and industry trends.

Sales Strategy & Leadership

  • Contribute to a high-performance, growth-oriented business development culture.
  • Establish and execute strategies for entering new markets and expanding the company's customer base.
  • Support, mentor, and collaborate with sales professionals as the organization continues to grow.
  • Help establish best practices around prospecting, pipeline development, presentations, negotiations, and closing.

Proposals, Contracts & Negotiations

  • Lead the development of proposals, RFPs, RFQs, pricing strategies, and service agreements.
  • Negotiate contracts and service-level agreements in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop commercially sound solutions that balance client expectations with operational capabilities and profitability.

Market Intelligence

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with operations, customer service, transportation, finance, and other internal teams to ensure successful client onboarding.
  • Coordinate implementation requirements and ensure expectations established during the sales process can be successfully executed.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve client issues and support long-term account growth.

Performance & Reporting

  • Track business development KPIs, pipeline activity, revenue growth, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reporting to executive leadership.
