Job description

Job Purpose:

Fabricate and refurbish wire rope slings and other lifting assemblies.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and repair wire rope slings and assemblies; and
  • Achieve qualification as an apprentice (minimum) or journeyman splicer.
  • Use testing software to test fabricated products (chains, wire ropes, slings) for strength and quality.
  • Re-webbing and re-certifying slings.
  • Perform other functions as required.


Job Requirements:

  • Must have experience in manufacturing role working with various tools.
  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds.
  • Must be comfortable standing for extended periods of time.
  • Must be computer-literate in order to operate testing software (software can be learned with basic computer knowledge)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical and background check (including MVR)
