Key Requirements:
  • Previous hands-on welding experience required
  • Experience performing general repair welding, preferably on trucks, trailers, or heavy-duty vehicles
  • Able to repair cracks in truck bodies and weld flat bar/steel components
  • Comfortable performing minor repairs such as cutting out and replacing worn bushings
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must provide their own welding machine, welding equipment, rods/consumables, and oxygen/acetylene
  • Client will provide the steel, flat bar, pipe, and other materials needed for repairs
  • Must be available for occasional morning or evening call-outs, typically 2+ times per week

Shifts:
  • Vary by need
  • 3 hr. minimum on a call out
