Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer

We are currently seeking a Mid-level Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer with experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering for our growing business in Dayton, Ohio. This position is for on-site support at Wright-Patterson AFB (WPAFB)ย and is contingent on contract award.

HOW WILL THIS POSITION CONTRIBUTE?

  • Mission: Using systems engineering best practices and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods, design, develop, test, and document advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) and Radar sensor technologies.
  • How: Using industry best practices, assess and refine system requirements, perform trade studies, create system-level designs, design and implement tests, develop interfaces, and maintain reference architectures.

WHAT SKILLS ARE NEEDED?

  • Required:
    • Experience in one or more of the following:
      • model-based systems engineering (MBSE) to include SysML and DoDAF standards,
      • mission-level modeling and simulation tools,
      • high-fidelity RF modeling and simulation tools,
      • digital signal processing (DSP),
      • EW system design and signal processing,
      • radar system design, measurements, and signal processing.
    • Familiarity with MBSE Tools
      • Cameo, Sparx Enterprise Architect, and/or Visual Paradigm
    • Familiarity with programming:
      • a systems language (such as C and C++) and/or
      • a high-level language (such as Julia, Python, MATLAB), and
      • willingness to learn from others.
    • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Applicants must be US citizens capable of obtaining and maintaining a US DoD security clearance.
  • Desired or Will Train:
    • At least five years of professional Systems Engineering experience
    • Familiarity with MATLAB, algorithm development, and algorithm evaluation
    • An active security clearance
