Position Details

  • Job Title: UX Designer
  • Location ANY ONE OF: NYC, NY, 10010 OR Jersey City, NJ
  • Schedule: Hybrid – Monday & Friday Remote; Tuesday–Thursday Onsite
  • Work Week: 37.5 hours/week
  • Contract: 12 months with potential conversion
  • Interview Process: 2 virtual interviews
  • Portfolio: Required

Key Responsibilities

  • Design cohesive digital experiences across key .com user journeys and touchpoints.
  • Create visual and interaction designs aligned with brand standards and established design systems.
  • Translate brand principles into intuitive, user-centered digital experiences.
  • Design campaign, marketing, and storytelling experiences that support business objectives.
  • Develop and apply reusable design patterns to improve consistency and scalability.
  • Work within component-based design systems, ensuring consistent typography, color, spacing, accessibility, and interaction standards.
  • Produce implementation-ready designs, including responsive states, interaction behaviors, and edge cases.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content, and Design teams to ensure high-quality implementation.
  • Communicate design decisions, rationale, and tradeoffs clearly to stakeholders and design leadership.
  • Identify opportunities to improve UX patterns, strengthen consistency, and evolve the design system.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, or a related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience designing digital products or experiences.
  • Strong visual design, interaction design, UX, and user-centered design skills.
  • Experience creating brand-driven, campaign, or storytelling digital experiences.
  • Experience working with component-based design systems and reusable design patterns.
  • Strong understanding of how content structure and storytelling support user and business goals.
  • Excellent collaboration skills across Design, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Content teams.
  • Experience creating connected experiences across campaigns, entry points, and downstream user journeys.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Portfolio or case studies demonstrating relevant UX and visual design work
