UI/UX Designer

Location: Bellevue, WA (Hybrid โ€“ 3 Days Onsite) Client: T-Mobile Employment Type: C2C (Local candidates only)

Job Summary:

T-Mobile is seeking a passionate and creative UI/UX Designer to design intuitive, user-centric digital experiences across mobile and web platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in user interface design, user experience strategy, and usability testing, working closely with product owners, developers, and stakeholders to create seamless and engaging designs aligned with T-Mobile's brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to understand business goals and user needs.
  • Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Design high-fidelity mockups, interactive prototypes, and responsive interfaces using Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and heuristic evaluations to improve user experience.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into intuitive and visually appealing design solutions.
  • Ensure consistency with T-Mobile's design systems, brand guidelines, and accessibility standards.
  • Analyze data and feedback to iterate and refine design deliverables.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of UI/UX designs.
  • Stay up to date with current UI/UX trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5โ€“8 years of professional experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design work for web and mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or similar design tools.
  • Strong understanding of design systems, responsive design, and accessibility (WCAG).
  • Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and A/B testing.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, React basics) is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing for telecom, e-commerce, or large enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of T-Mobile's digital ecosystem or brand standards is a strong plus.
  • Certification in UX Design (e.g., Nielsen Norman Group, Google UX) preferred.
