POSITION SUMMARY

The Maintenance Administrator is responsible for overseeing clerical duties within the facility and supporting the Maintenance staff by assisting with the day-to-day operations. This role will report to, and collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on a consistent basis.

Requirements:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for overseeing and controlling budgets
  • Performing all administrative tasks including; responding to emails in a timely manner, phone communication, ensuring all documents/paperwork is properly filedโ€ฆetc.
  • Enter and assign Purchase Orders into multi-company ERP system assigned to specific cost centers.
  • Manage inventory, pertaining to parts, and storage area, purchasing adequate maintenance materials for service requests and apartment turns, keeping an accurate log of supplies.
  • Follows all company policies

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Onsite role within a maintenance and production facility environment
  • Regular exposure to varying temperatures, including environments above 45ยฐF and below
  • Exposure to chemicals used in maintenance activities, including but not limited to brazing/welding materials and chlorine
  • Exposure to strong product odors and fumes associated with fresh produce (e.g., onions, peppers)
  • Interaction with maintenance staff and operational personnel on a daily basis
  • Overtime may be required based on operational needs


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand and walk frequently to constantly throughout the workday
  • Ability to occasionally to frequently bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, and climb
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing approximately 5 to 50 pounds, occasionally more
  • Manual dexterity required for administrative tasks, including typing, filing, and handling paperwork
  • Ability to maintain focus and attention to detail for extended periods

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Highschool graduate preferred
  • Experience in fresh food or production environment
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience
  • Must be PC literate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial minded
  • Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint preferred)
  • Able to multi-task
  • Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints
  • Work requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials
  • People Skills, Integrity, Strong Leadership Skills, and able to adapt and grow in a changing industry.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
