Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree in Business/Office Administration: Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Experience and skill using Google drive/docs/sheets, etc. and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of legal requirements of personnel and benefits records, files, forms and reports.
  • Budget knowledge, and accounting skills
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering detailed and specific data.
  • Understand and maintain confidentiality, professional tact, diplomacy and presentation with administrators, staff, teachers, parents and the community
  • Ability to complete task accurately during periods of frequent interruptions
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Five year's prior work experience in related field.
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with established policies and regulations.
  • Emphasis on experience with insurance and employee benefits

Performance Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing and processing salary statements
  • Help maintain accurate records for the REP (Registry of Educational Personnel)
  • Support the preparation of financial documents for payroll deductions for insurance
  • Communicate with employees about insurance options and organize open enrollment
  • Assist in the employee onboarding process for new hires
  • Prepare and submit ACA reports to insurance
  • Assist in auditing and reviewing financial documentation related to grants.
  • Provide general administrative support for various Central Office duties
  • Coordinate with Business Office personnel in verifying all employee wages and benefits.
  • Support and assist with phone calls or visitor inquiries nor requiring administrative attention
  • Additional duties as assigned
