Job description

Contract/Travel CT Technologist

Contract/Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in or near La Grande, Oregon. Provide CT imaging services in a fast-paced hospital setting. Earn competitive pay and benefit from comprehensive health coverage and travel support.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide safe and accurate CT imaging services, operating GE, Toshiba, and Siemens equipment in a fast-paced hospital environment.
  2. Maintain compliance with all department policies, including radiation safety and EMR documentation, utilizing McKesson PACS and Meditech EMR systems.
  3. Collaborate closely with radiologists and department staff to ensure high-quality patient care and image accuracy.
  4. Document patient interactions and technical procedures thoroughly to ensure precise records and billing processes.
  5. Execute department protocols effectively, including preparing patients for scans, starting IVs if required, and managing imaging studies during assigned shifts.
Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an approved Radiologic Technologist program recognized by ARRT
  • ARRT Certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography
  • BLS Certification
  • Oregon Medical Imaging license
  • Minimum 2 years of recent CT technologist experience
  • Experience operating GE, Toshiba, and Siemens imaging equipment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Flexibility to float to other departments if needed
