Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is seeking a Contract specialist to support our team. The ideal person will assist with collecting and organizing information required for preparation of documents, training materials, proposals, and reports. Contract negotiations as well as the managing of multiple projects will be expected. This specialist will also maintain a system of gathering information to update our inventory and service records. 
Duties 

  • Oversee full contract lifecycle
  • Communicate with suppliers/vendors for company events and products
  • Prepare and process contract administration duties, compliance, modifications, and customer correspondence
  • Manage contract activities using Unanet ERP, Microsoft 365 Excel, and SharePoint, including project setup, funding, reporting, document management, and records retention
  • Coordinate with Program Managers, Finance, Human Resources, suppliers and vendors 
  • Assist and provide guidance to develop performance work statements and specification documents
Qualifications 
Required Education and Experience:
  • 3-5 years of experience
  • Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in contract management or a related field
  • Prior experience in government contracting, proposal preparation, and data calls response
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to understand pricing and bill rates.

Salary Range:
Pay range information will be disclosed consistent with applicable state and local pay transparency laws once available. For this position, the anticipated salary range is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 annually, depending on experience, qualifications and overall fit for the role.
