Job description

POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking an experienced Deputy Site Manager to oversee and manage all security operations for a designated facility under our contract. You will be responsible for leading the security personnel and ensuring the development, implementation, and adherence to policies and procedures that uphold security standards across the site. RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, protocols, and procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Manage and control expenses and ensure cost-effective operations.
Recruit, train, and supervise security officers, ensuring they are well-prepared for their duties.
Attend management meetings to assess and address operational security needs.
Plan and coordinate security operations for specific events and assignments.
Coordinate staff responses to emergencies, alarms, and incidents.
Review and investigate reports on incidents, breaches, and other security concerns.
Prepare and submit regular security status reports to management.
Keep leadership fully informed of all activities and developments at the site.
Oversee scheduling and payroll ensuring current, accurate and thorough processing of administrative requirements.
Analyze data to propose improvements, such as the integration of new technologies.
Ensure compliance with Contract training directives by overseeing staff training and certification.
Maintain compliance with Standing Operating Procedures (SOP) and the Scope of Work (SOW).
Ensure security personnel are thoroughly briefed on prevailing threats and adequately prepared for any incidents in line with established SOPs. Working Conditions Work is primarily conducted in an active and dynamic security environment with frequent interruptions.
Standard business hours may consist of, extended hours, weekends, and on-call responsibilities may be required to meet operational needs.
Duties Duties require effective leadership, resource allocation, supervision, and administrative oversight to ensure the contract is compliant with all relevant federal and state regulations.
Duties require close coordination with government Operational Security staff to ensure daily operational needs are met, security activities are well-managed, and reporting requirements are fulfilled.
Duties require a proactive and results-driven individual who can balance operational needs with effective leadership and coordination of security personnel. QUALIFICATIONS: Security Clearance Required: TS-SCI-CI Poly. An Associate Degree or higher is preferred; however, additional relevant experience beyond the minimum requirements may be considered in lieu of formal education.
A minimum of 5-6 years of experience in law enforcement, security, or military service.
A minimum of 2-3 years of management experience at the Captain level or higher, overseeing contracted security guard services for government or commercial facilities.
Previous experience in procurement and human resources is desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based systems and applications (e.g., MS Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to keep leadership consistently informed of site activities. Preferred Qualifications Plus: A solid work history with upward movement and no unexplained gaps. Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching, and bending throughout the workday. BENEFITS:
