Responsibilities

Your combination of people skills and system administrator knowledge makes you the team hero, solving one problem after another. What if you could use those skills to improve the technology supporting the Intelligence Community? We're looking for a system administrator with a background in system design and maintenance to help us modernize our nation's security infrastructure. 

As a system administrator on our team, you'll constantly look for ways to make the infrastructure better using the latest technology and the best implementation strategies. You'll help clients overcome tough challenges through monitoring and performance management. Your knowledge will be vital as you identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in a mission-critical network. Your communication skills will come in handy as you turn metrics into information and articulate their meaning.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 8+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role
  • Experience with operating systems such as Windows, Linux, or macOS and server administration
  • Experience with network protocols such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, or VPNs
  • Experience with system virtualization such as VMware or Hyper-V
  • Experience with cloud services such as AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions, disaster recovery planning, and system monitoring
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate administrative tasks
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS Diploma or GED

Nice if You Have:

  • 15+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar IT support role
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Windows Server, CompTIA Network+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Clearance: 

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Compensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $72.12 to $110.58 per hour.  The estimate displayed represents the typical compensation range for this position and is just one component of EverWatch's total compensation package for employees.
