Portfolio Solutions Contract Specialist

We are looking for a Portfolio Solutions Contract Specialist for Portfolio Solutions and Delegated Authority team supporting the Americas. This will be a role based in Alpharetta, Georgia or O'Fallon, Missouri.

The Impact You Will Have:

As a Portfolio Solutions Contract Specialist at Allianz Commercial NA, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and evaluating delegated authority program agreements, including binding authorities, underwriting guidelines, compensation schedules, and profit share agreements. Your expertise will ensure the accuracy of contract language and adherence to governance protocols, safeguarding the interests of the company while aligning business goals with regulatory requirements.

Some of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include:

  • Providing business-oriented legal support to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinating alignment of business goals, regulatory requirements, and internal governance standards across delegated authority arrangements.
  • Collaborating with internal legal and compliance departments on contract language and oversight.
  • Assisting in contract negotiations jointly with the responsible Line of Business and Portfolio Solutions teams.
  • Reviewing and providing guidance in the preparation of contracts, agreements, amendments, and change orders for delegated authority arrangements.
  • Ensuring compliance with terms and conditions of contracts and verifying that all contractual clauses are included in documents as appropriate.
  • Managing and monitoring vendor/coverholder performance in relation to contractual agreements.
  • Raising awareness and understanding in the business for legal issues, risks, and mitigation measures, acting as a bridge between functions and the business for handling legal challenges.
  • Maintaining corporate records and contract files, including preparation of status reports and reconciliation with relevant internal departments.
  • Staying up to date with legal developments and industry trends to provide proactive legal support.
  • Developing and maintaining legal templates, contract administration procedures, and team knowledge resources.
  • Assisting in resolving disputes, claims, and settlements related to delegated authority agreements.
  • Conducting legal research to support business actions and decisions related to delegated authorities.

The annualized base pay range for this role is $97,739 to $147,652. The annual base salary range represents a nationwide market range. The actual salary for this position may be above and will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate. The base pay is just one component of the AzC total compensation package. As part of our comprehensive compensation and highly rated benefits programs, employees are also eligible for annual performance-based cash incentive awards.
