Job description

Dental Hygienist

Pay rate: $35.00-$42.00 per hour.

Location: Columbus Health Department 5601 Veterans Parkway Columbus, GA 31904

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 29 hours per week.

Under general supervision, this position will perform a variety of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Providing preventive oral hygiene treatment to all ages (adult and pediatric patients).
  • Performing dental x-rays, cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and oral health education.
  • Charting dental conditions, diseases, and anomalies.
  • Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining dental instruments and equipment.
  • Breaking down and setting up operatory equipment between patients.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.
