Job description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by providing expert speech-language services in a welcoming school environment. As a contract speech-language pathologist, you'll collaborate with educators and families to help children reach their communication milestones and thrive academically.
Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Valid SLP state license and master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued
  • Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapy-planning skills
  • Comfortable designing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
  • Adaptable and able to manage caseloads efficiently in a dynamic school setting
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify speech and language needs among students
  • Develop, document, and execute IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver evidence-based therapy services tailored to student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure integrated support for student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and up-to-date progress reports
  • Participate in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and professional development sessions
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
