Contract Specimen Processors are professionals who handle and process biological specimens, such as blood, urine, or tissue samples, typically in a laboratory setting on a contractual basis. Their main responsibilities include receiving, labeling, and preparing specimens for analysis according to strict protocols. They ensure that samples are properly logged, stored, and transported to maintain their integrity. This role is critical in supporting laboratory operations, research, and diagnostic testing while adhering to safety and confidentiality standards.
