Job Title: Social Media Manager (Contract-to-Hire) Location: Poughkeepsie, NY (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week) Start Date: ASAP Duration: 3-Month Contract-to-Hire Compensation: $33-$41/hour W2 - $60,000-$75,000 annually upon successful conversion to a full-time employee. Benefits: Eligible for Health, Dental, Vision, and 401(k) through Mondo during the contract period. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. This position is not eligible for sponsorship. About the Role Our client is seeking a creative, hands-on Social Media Manager to lead the day-to-day management and content creation across multiple social media channels for several entertainment and community venues. This individual will own the social media calendar, create engaging content, attend live events, and develop creative campaigns that increase audience engagement and event attendance. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career (approximately 1-3 years of experience) who enjoys creating content, staying on top of social media trends, and working in a fast-paced entertainment environment. Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day social media across multiple brands and platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create, film, edit, and publish engaging photo and video content, including Reels, TikToks, and short-form videos.
  • Develop and maintain monthly content calendars and posting schedules.
  • Attend concerts, sporting events, community events, and venue programming to capture real-time content.
  • Brainstorm fresh, creative content ideas that go beyond standard promotional graphics.
  • Write engaging captions and calls-to-action that increase audience engagement and ticket sales.
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and user-generated content.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing, programming, and creative teams to support upcoming events and campaigns.
  • Utilize Meta Ads Manager to build and optimize paid social campaigns targeting local audiences.
  • Monitor social media performance and provide reporting on engagement, audience growth, and campaign success.
Required Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of professional social media management or content creation experience.
  • Experience managing business social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Strong content creation skills, including photography, videography, and short-form video editing.
  • Experience using Canva, CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar editing software.
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads Manager, including audience targeting and campaign optimization.
