Job description

A rewarding opportunity awaits for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist ready to make a meaningful difference in the lives of elementary students. This full-time, contract position covers the 2026–2027 school year and is based at a single, supportive site—no traveling between schools required. You’ll collaborate closely with an experienced on-site SLP and focus on Kindergarten through 5th grade students in a vibrant learning community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive speech-language therapy services (direct and indirect) to elementary-aged children.
  • Complete accurate assessments, draft Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and participate in student-focused team meetings.
  • Partner with your on-site SLP co-provider to develop and implement effective support strategies for students.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and ensure compliance with state and district guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • An active—or eligible—North Carolina SLP license.
  • Ability to complete all standard onboarding (including a physical and fingerprint background check).
  • Experience with teletherapy, pediatric care, CFY, or healthcare SLP settings valued.
  • Open to both local and travel SLP candidates.
