About Us

Ohio Support Services (OSS) is a regionally recognized contract security service firm that provides the highest levels of customized security programs to corporate headquarters, industrial and distribution centers, multi-tenant properties, medical centers, Special Improvement Districts, and educational institutions. Since its founding in 1978 OSS has set the standard for the industry: designing and implementing superior, comprehensive, and cost-effective security programs.

Security Officer Requirements:

  • Noprevioussecurity experience isrequired.
  • A valid driver's license and a personal vehicle. (Required)
  • Successfully pass a background check, fingerprinting, and a 10-panel drug screenin accordance withlocal laws.
  • Completean on-sitesafety-trainingprior to starting.
  • Good computer skills, including the following: able to use a keyboard to correctly input information accurately and efficiently into software programs; able to navigate various software applications and the internet/intranet; able to restart/reboot computers and printers;possessa reasonable general working knowledge of computers.
  • Able to work well independently and with a team.
  • Neat and well-groomed appearance.
  • Providea high levelof courtesy and customer service.
  • Commitment to safetyat all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills (e.g.courtesy, patience, understanding, etc.).
  • Able to effectively speak and write the English language.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the proper use of grammar,punctuationand spelling.
  • Willingto work overtime when asked or directed.
  • Must embody vigilance, diligence, and integrity.
  • Other duties,as assigned.
