Job description

Security Manager

The Opportunity:

A robust security framework is essential for safeguarding critical information and systems and enabling our Air Force client to achieve its mission. But how can an organization ensure its security measures keep pace with evolving threats? Developing the right security architecture for disparate environments demands a mix of technical expertise and strategic foresight. That's why we need you, a security management professional who knows how to craft and implement comprehensive security solutions for safeguarding the organization's assets, information, and people.

As a Security Manager on our team, you'll hone your skills in managing and supporting security programs, security clearance, background investigation, personnel security records, and insider threat detection programs. You will oversee the organization's security programs, including risk assessments, access control, incident response, security personnel management, and compliance with regulations. You will help develop security policies, manage surveillance systems, coordinate emergency response, conduct onsite security assessments and work cross-functionally with leaders and staff, building on your skills and industry knowledge.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience managing or supporting security programs in government, defense, intelligence or corporate environments

  • Experience managing security clearance, background investigation, and personnel security records

  • Experience safeguarding classified and controlled information

  • Ability to develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols to safeguard assets and ensure regulatory compliance

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Homeland Security, Security Management, or Information Systems

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with HQ USAF, Joint Staff, STRATCOM, or AFGSC

  • Knowledge of USAF and DoW security policies, programs, and regulations

  • Possession of excellent leadership, communication, and crisismanagement skills

  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) Certification

  • CISSP Certification

  • CISM Certification

  • CPP Certification

  • Completion of OPSEC Level II Training

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
