Position Overview

Jewish Family Care Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As an integral member of our mental health care team, you will play a crucial role in providing teletherapy services to clients overcoming mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety, and depression. This position offers an annual salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000, plus a sign-on bonus to welcome you aboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to gain a deep understanding of clients' mental health challenges and personal histories.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client, using evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring a nurturing environment conducive to growth and healing.
• Establish clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor their progress throughout the therapeutic journey.
• Utilize our teletherapy platform to conduct virtual sessions, making it easier for clients with mobility challenges to access therapy.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client interactions and treatment plans to uphold ethical standards, as well as to comply with state regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development through training, workshops, and staying abreast of the latest trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse clientele, including couples, families, children, and teenagers. Qualifications

• A Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid, current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A minimum of two years of full-time clinical counseling experience, demonstrating effectiveness in therapeutic practices.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience working with diverse client groups, including children, adolescents, couples, and families.
• Specific experience providing services to clients from underserved communities, enhancing our commitment to a diverse client base.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques is a plus.
