Security Guard - FT

Army Navy Country Club is a prestigious private, member-owned institution with a history dating back to 1924. Spanning 488 acres across two campuses located in Arlington and Fairfax, Virginia. The Club provides employees with opportunities to contribute to essential security operations. From monitoring club premises and ensuring the safety of our members to coordinating with staff and overseeing emergency protocols, our security team is dedicated to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment within the Club. As a key player, you will help enforce high standards of security, support member satisfaction, and ensure that our facilities are always secure.

This is an entry level uniformed unarmed security position. The responsibilities of the security guards are to be the point of contact for any accidents (employees and members), security issues, and maintenance of club security.

The security position will be at the Arlington location and is part-time.

Our ideal candidate must have the following requirements:

  • Must be 21 years old or older.
  • Effectively speak, read, and write English.
  • Have a valid driver's license
  • Must have open availability including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Must work Holidays (i.e. July 4th). The gates are locked only on Christmas and New Year's Day.
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position (sit, stand, bend, lift, walk, or use stairs for long periods of time).
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull at least 45 pounds unassisted.
  • Must be willing to work in all weather conditions outdoors during the summer and winter. (heat, cold, rain, snow, wind, and ice)
  • Must have the ability to walk up and down stairs, have knowledge of alarm keypads and how to secure doors, windows and gates.
  • Reliable transportation and a Current Driver's License are a must.
  • A current VA/DC/MD security license is preferred but not required.
