Summary

Chenegaย Naswikย International, LLC isย seekingย a professional and dependable Armed Security Guard to provide security services in support of a U.S. Army Corps of Engineers facility. This positionย is responsible forย protecting personnel, facilities, property, and assets through access control operations, security patrols, inspections, and enforcement of established security procedures.ย 

  • The ideal candidate is a disciplined security professional with strong observational skills, sound judgment, and a commitment to public safety. This role offers the opportunity to support critical government operations while contributing to the protection of federal personnel, resources, and infrastructure.ย 


Responsibilities
  • Communicate effectively via radio, telephone, and in-person interactions.ย 

  • Provide professional interaction and escort services for government personnel, visitors, contractors, and the public.ย 

  • Perform access control and traffic control functionsย in accordance withย established procedures.ย 

  • Conduct walking and motorized patrols toย identifyย security concerns and unauthorized activities.ย 

  • Enforce applicable security regulations, post orders, and standard operating procedures.ย 

  • Protect government personnel, facilities, equipment, property, and resources.ย 

  • Conduct personnel, vehicle, building, and facility inspections.ย 

  • Perform package and parcel inspections asย required.ย 

  • Monitor assigned areas for suspicious activity, safety concerns, and security risks.ย 

  • Complete reports, logs, andย requiredย documentation accurately andย timely.ย 

  • Support emergency response and incident management activities.ย 

  • Work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays, asย required.ย 

  • Perform other duties as assigned.ย 


Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GEDย required.ย 

  • Possess andย maintainย Armed Security Guard certification through the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS).ย 

  • Possess an active Secret Clearance.ย 

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.ย 

  • Certified in the use of Oleoresin Capsicum (OC) Spray.ย 

  • Certified in the use of batons.ย 

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience with a civilian police agency, military police organization, security force, or related security organization.ย 

  • Possess andย maintainย current CPR certification through the American Red Cross or equivalent approved provider.ย 

  • Must successfully meet Physical Agility Test (PAT) standards as required by the customer, including:ย ย 

  • 1.5-mile run completed within 17 minutes and 30 seconds.ย 

  • 19 push-ups completed within two minutes.ย 

  • Must successfully complete and pass the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).ย 

Preferred Qualifications:ย 

  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice, Homeland Security, Security Management, orย a relatedย field.ย 

  • Experience supportingย Departmentย of Defense or federal government security operations.ย 

  • Military police, armed security, or law enforcement experience.ย 

  • Experience working in controlled-access or high-security environments.ย 

  • Additionalย certifications in First Aid, emergency response, or security operations.ย 

Knowledge,ย Skillsย and Abilities:ย ย
