About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible Security Guard to join our team in the Hospitality, Tourism and Recreation industry. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and staff. You will be required to monitor and patrol the premises, respond to emergencies, and report any suspicious activity. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of everyone on the premises.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid security guard license
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in security or law enforcement
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Bilingual in English and Spanish

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the premises to ensure the safety and security of guests and staff
• Respond to emergencies and provide assistance as needed
• Report any suspicious activity to the appropriate authorities
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and activities
• Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure a cohesive and effective security team

Skills:

As a Security Guard, you will utilize your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff in a professional and courteous manner. You will also use your attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure to effectively monitor and respond to any potential security threats. Additionally, your knowledge of security protocols and procedures will be essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for all.
