Job description

Tampa General Hospital is seeking a local contract nurse RN Med Surg for a local contract nursing job in Spring Hill, Florida.

Positions range from permanent clinical float roles (Full time or Part Time) to Seasonal 13-week assignments with significantly higher base pay. • Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills 21
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals

36 hours per week 0700-1900 with "On Call"

Requirements:

• FL RN license
• Associates Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred
• BLS, PALS & ACLS certifications through ARC or AHA
• 1 year experience.
