Job description

Travel/Contract Registered Nurse

Travel/contract registered nurse for a 13-week assignment in the Raleigh, NC area. Provide telemetry nursing care for high-acuity patients during day and night shifts, ensuring timely response to cardiac events and supporting multidisciplinary care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care to high-acuity patients in a hospital setting
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to abnormal findings
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans
  • Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in EMR systems
  • Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, safety standards, and licensing requirements
Qualifications:
  • Valid nursing degree from an accredited program
  • Current CPR certification
  • NC or multi-state nursing license
  • Specialized telemetry certification (if applicable)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent telemetry nursing experience
