Job description

Position: Part-Time Windows Server Administrator
Location: Remote (Preferred U.S. Based)
Hours: 12โ€“16 Hours per Week
Employment Type: Part-Time / Contract
About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Windows Server Administrator to join our IT team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience managing Microsoft Windows Server environments and working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
This role will be responsible for maintaining server infrastructure, supporting endpoint management, ensuring system reliability, and assisting with ongoing IT projects.
Responsibilities:
  • Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related Microsoft services.
  • Administer and support SCCM/MECM for software deployment, patch management, operating system deployment, and endpoint management.
  • Monitor server performance, security, and system availability.
  • Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures.

Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM).
  • Experience with:
    • Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.ย 
    • Active Directory.ย 
    • Group Policy.ย 
    • DNS and DHCP.ย 
    • PowerShell scripting.ย 
    • Server patching and security best practice.s
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
