We are searching for the best talent for a Senior Manager, Pricing Strategy & Execution to join our J&J Surgical Vision team. This position is based in Irvine, CA. Other J&J locations (Jacksonville, FL) or remote opportunities may be considered for strong internal talent.

Purpose:

As theSenior Manager,Pricing Strategy and Execution,you will leadpricing strategy,offer development, and contract performance managementforUSSurgical Visionthrough strong cross functional leadership.You will play a critical role in defining our future pricing and commercialapproach, developingeasy-to-use tools, and driving adoption throughout the organization.This role requiresstrong business acumen, strategic thinking,communication,analytics, cross functional leadership, anddirectteam leadership.

This position will report to the Director, USCustomerOperations and collaborate closely with the Selling and Marketing organizations of Surgical VisionUS.

You will be responsible for:

  • Pricing Strategy:Own pricing strategyincludingthe evolution of the pricing and commercial programs in close collaboration with sales,marketing, finance, legal, and HCCwith the goal of driving profitable growthwhileenablingappropriate flexibilityand strong compliance.
  • Pricing Committee:Own the pricing committee, including intake optimization, agenda management, material effectiveness,decision clarity, and documentationin close partnership with key stakeholdersand committee members.
  • Deal Desk:Establishand maintain a proactive deal desk that partners with sales leadership to shape and influence customer contract and pricingstructuresto achieve businessobjectiveswith a clear handoff to contract operations.
  • Developand Drive Adoption ofProcess and Tools:Create easy to use tools and processesandthendrive adoption throughout the sales organization withappropriate checksand balances.
  • Contract Compliance and Rebate Execution:Provideleadership and oversight for contract compliance to ensureaccurateand actionable compliance reporting andrebate calculations.Leverage this knowledge of performance drivers to shape future contract offerings.
  • Projects:Leadvarious commercial improvement projects through strong cross functional leadership (examples could include freight, pricing actions, commercial programs,etc.).
  • CommercialCompliance:Partnerwith Finance, Legal, and Health Care Compliance to ensure audit readiness, governance integrity, and regulatory compliance.
  • Team Leadership:Provideongoing leadership and coaching to an organization of 5 including 1 Manager and 4 Professionals.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a bachelor'sdegree isrequired; amaster's degreeor MBA is preferred.
  • Minimumof8years total experience including5years of progressive experience in Analytics, Strategy Development, Marketing, Commercial Operations, Contracts Compliance or Financeis required.Med Device and/or healthcaresectorispreferred.
  • Strong business acumen,strategic thinking, and communicationto shape solutions in a complex environment arerequired.
  • Proven ability to synthesize and interpret data into meaningful recommendationsisrequired.
  • Demonstrated experience leading pricing strategy, offer development, and commercial decision making in a matrixed organizationis preferred.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership skills includingabilitytodeliver results with others in complex matrix structurearerequired.
  • Priorpeopleleadership experience,including coaching and developing managers and/or senior analysts,isrequired.
  • Integration of Johnson & Johnson's Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision-making processes is required.
  • Willingness to travel up to15%may berequired.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$122,000.00 - $212,750.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
