This role is perfect for a passionate therapist ready to provide impactful mental health services while enjoying the flexibility of a remote work setting. As part of our team, you will focus on what you do bestโ€”offering quality therapy to our clientsโ€”while we manage the backend processes such as credentialing, billing, and referrals.

About the Organization

The Journey For Healing, LLC is a community health clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative mental health care to individuals and families. We pride ourselves on creating a supportive environment that empowers clients through their healing journey. Our multidisciplinary team collaborates to ensure comprehensive care, addressing both mental and emotional challenges faced by our clients.

Work Environment

This full-time position operates remotely, allowing you to connect with clients in the comfort of your chosen environment while still being part of a dynamic team culture. Our remote operations are bolstered by advanced teletherapy technology and virtual collaboration tools, ensuring seamless communication and service delivery. As a community health clinic, we value flexibility and adaptability, fostering an environment of continuous learning and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized therapy services to clients, utilizing evidence-based modalities to address diverse mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges.
  • Conduct intake assessments to develop tailored treatment plans, ensuring alignment with each clientโ€™s unique goals and circumstances.
  • Facilitate regular therapy sessions via telehealth, creating a safe and supportive atmosphere to encourage open dialogue.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including healthcare professionals and family members, to develop comprehensive care strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with established regulations and best practices.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, scheduling, and follow-up processes, ensuring patient data security and integrity.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed about evolving mental health care trends.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population of all ages and backgrounds, providing counseling services tailored to their specific needs. Many clients are navigating complex family dynamics, trauma, and mental health disorders, and as their therapist, you will play a crucial role in guiding them through their healing journey and improving their overall quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • An active LMFT license in California, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
  • Demonstrated experienceโ€”minimum of two yearsโ€”providing therapy to individuals and families, showcasing strong clinical judgment.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective therapy and documentation.
  • Ability to engage empathically with clients, fostering trust and rapport.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for managing client data and treatment plans.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and the nuances of providing therapy in a digital space.
  • Previous experience working within community health settings, addressing diverse mental health issues.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision coverage, ensuring you and your family are well taken care of.
  • A 401(k) plan with employer matching, promoting your long-term financial wellness.
  • Flexible working arrangements that prioritize work-life balance.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities and support for continuing education.
